We discuss historical subjects based on presentations by the members. There will be one session per term on an Archaeological topic.

This year’s topic is on the general subject of world culture.

‘The next History group meeting will be on Friday 10th April and the subject is The History of Jazz and Rupert Brooke is now May.

The History Group enjoyed examining some exhibits in Chippenham museum. Some of them seen here with King Alfred who married his daughter to the King of Mercia in a wooden church standing on the site of today's St Andrew's church
