Reel cinema invites us to a hot drink for £1.00 before the film so there is time from 10:00 - 10:30 to catch up with friends, or make new ones, in the foyer before the film.

We meet at Reel Cinema on Marshfield Rd Chippenham on the fourth Tuesday of the month, doors open at 10:00am to purchase tickets at £4.00 plus tea or coffee for £1:00, screening starts at 10:30.  There is disabled access and a separate screening with subtitles for those who require them.

Chippenham Film Festival 2026

Five films. One week.

Tuesday 8th – Sunday 13th September 2026 https://chippenhamfilmclub.co.uk/film-festival-2026/

The next cinema club will be on Sept 22nd and will be The Sheep Detectives, a mystery comedy following a flock of sheep as they try to solve the murder of their shepherd. It is based on the novel Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann and stars Hugh Jackman and Emma Thompson, Julia Louise-Dreyfus and Bryan Cranston among a host of other stars and is very funny.

George, is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his flock every night, assuming they don’t understand but when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm the sheep step up to prove they too can be brilliant crime solvers!

As from October our meetings will be on 3rd Tuesday of each month so that we will not miss out so many showings due to school holidays.

This means that our October meeting will be on 20th October - The Odyssey, newly released and proving very popular. Avoid the queues and see it for half price in October!
